This program is suitable for individuals who have never had an account, those who would like to know how to improve handling their checking account, and consumers who would like to re-establish a relationship with a financial institution. This curriculum covers the benefits of developing a relationship with a financial institution, understanding basic services, choosing & opening a checking account, types of checks, writing checks, maintaining & balancing checkbook, using various services to manage a account, and keeping the account safe. Consumer will receive certification upon completion of course to present to a bank or credit union. Consumers are registered in a national database that serves as permanent record of completion of course.
Make Your Move
Cost: $35 per person/$50 per couple

We offer a comprehensive pre-purchase education program to help consumers through the entire homeownership process, equipping homeowners with knowledge to make sound decisions regarding homeownership. The pre-purchase curriculum covers financial management, evaluating credit information, prequalifying & loan approval, financing options, shopping for a home, finalizing the loan, closing process, maintaining the home, avoiding foreclosure and predatory lending practices. This course includes one-on-one counseling at no cost. Upon completion of this course, consumer will receive certificate at their counseling session. Certification meets requirement for some Home Ownership Assistance and Specialized Loan Programs.
Money In Motion
Cost: $50 per individual or couple
Register for the Money In Motion online course or classroom course.
We offer a financial literacy education program focusing on being financially responsible by successfully managing money to achieve financial goals. Consumers will learn how properly manage their money by creating a spending plan, track expenses, and importance of keeping accurate records. The money management curriculum covers developing a budget/spending plan, identifying spending leaks, using a budget/spending plan to reach goals, using financial tools wisely, understanding credit & credit scoring, signing contracts, insurance, consumer laws, and how to handle unforeseen financial issues. Consumer will receive certification upon completion of course.
